Our Work in Action: Cathedral of the Holy Cross
Built more than 150 years ago in Boston鈥檚 South End neighborhood, the historic Cathedral of the Holy Cross presented a unique safety challenge to the Suffolk team: a bell tower attic with no elevator or conventional stairs. Led by Suffolk鈥檚 Senior Safety Manager Michael Joel, the team worked with the Boston Fire Department to develop an Emergency Preparedness Plan and execute a drill that successfully demonstrated how workers could be rescued from the attic.
