Located within Verizon Digital Media鈥檚 sprawling Lockport, New York campus and the largest data center complex in Western New York, this project features the fit-out of 600kW of existing data hall space.
The fit-out was completed in a live data center environment, which necessitated careful planning and the development of Methods of Procedure (MOPs) in order to ensure that ongoing operations carried on uninterrupted.
This was first project completed since Yahoo was acquired by Verizon, the newly fit-out space supports applications such as Tumblr, Yahoo News, Yahoo Sports, and Yahoo Finance. The finished space features an industry-leading PUE of 1.13.
