The Energy Management Control System (EMCS) project will design and implement platforms for managing energy and water use across the Airport campus.
This is done by integrating water, gas, thermal and electric meters, building management systems (BMSs), and relevant data sources. The platform will be a tool to enable the Airport鈥檚 strategic goal of achieving Zero Net Energy (ZNE) by 2021. The EMCS project will establish two platforms: the Enterprise Analytics Engine (EAE) for analysis of data, and the Enterprise Building Management System (EBMS) for control of existing disparate BMSs.
The major enabler of these platforms will be the EMCS Ready Works that will allow multiple data sources, disparate BMSs and meter systems to share data with the EAE and EBMS.
